1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Recreo Consilium uses cookies and similar technologies on www.recreo.co.uk.
Recreo Consilium is an independent advisory practice. Our approach to cookies follows the same principle as our wider communications: clear, proportionate and transparent.
This policy should be read alongside RS-101 Privacy Policy and RS-103 Website Terms of Use.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a website to function properly, remember limited information and support security or performance features.
Similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels or software development kits, may perform similar functions. References to cookies in this policy include these similar technologies where relevant.
3. How we use cookies
At the date of issue, the Recreo Consilium website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to operate properly.
Strictly necessary cookies may support page navigation, security, load balancing, user preferences or essential website functionality. They do not usually require consent because the website cannot operate properly without them.
4. Cookies currently used
The current policy position is that the website does not intentionally use analytics, advertising or third-party marketing cookies. This should be verified against the live website before publication, including any hosting platform, embedded forms, scripts, fonts, maps, analytics tools or third-party integrations.
5. Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are required for core website functionality. They may be set automatically when you visit the website and cannot normally be switched off through a website consent banner.
You can still block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may affect how the website functions.
6. Analytics, marketing and third-party cookies
We do not currently intend to use analytics, advertising or third-party marketing cookies. If this changes, we will update this Cookie Policy and introduce an appropriate consent mechanism before setting non-essential cookies where consent is required.
Examples of technologies that may require further review before use include Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, embedded maps, embedded videos, newsletter tracking, remarketing tags and third-party chat tools.
7. Managing cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block cookies, delete cookies or receive warnings before cookies are set.
Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.
Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions.
Safari: Settings or Preferences > Privacy.
Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly if the website functionality changes or additional cookies are introduced. The latest version will be made available on our website.
